THE PLOT:
Toxic waste dumping at a local cemetery reawakens a dead girl. Catherine Valmont who as a living dead girl is out to continue
this unholy existence through ingesting blood. She gets help from an old friend who will do anything for her dead friend
and I mean anything.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
I'm sorry but I don't want to sound racist or anything. But this is just another French cinematic abortions. Some say it
was just an excuse to make a nudie movie. But there is no excuse for bad cinema. For starters, dead people decay. No matter
how well the mortician does it can't stop decay and if she's been dead for years, there would have been decay. There's another
thing, I don't remember if they mentioned how she died? Illness is the only thing that makes sense, but what illness doesn't
do damage to the body as well? Also, the hero is helping a monster. Lastly, after all the help she gives Catherine, she
kills her for it. THE CRAP-O-LANTERN.
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I couldn't agree more, I've seen several French films of various genres and most are just crashing bores and this is no exception.
There's another reason why to avoid this French flop like the French Foreign Legion. THE CRAP-O-LANTERN as well.
ON THE POSTIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ GIRLS (The women are hot.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- STORY (Makes no sense.)
- DECAY (She's been dead months or years but still has a perfect body. Why?)
- CHARACTERS (Poorly written.)
- SNOOZE (Just another snooze.)
- HOW (How did she die? If we had a dubbed version we might be able to keep track.)
...AND FINALLY...
- ENDING (Catherine murders her hold friend.)
