THE PLOT:

Helga and Monika find out that their are heirs to a vast castle in the Germany countryside. That one may be the direct descendant of a powerful and hated Baroness. The part they forgot to mention is that the Baroness is a vampire and the true descendant will become her new vessel.

A writer and her brother arrive at the castle under the pretense that their car broke down, but she is researching vampires and secretly out to stop the Baroness return to the mortal world. But with the seductive power of her followers, can she resist? Can her cross made of garlic pertect her? Can she save Helga and Monika?

ZEDD'S OPINION:

Erotic cinema of the 1970's was tame compared to the triple X romps of today, which is good. Because there is a good story around the naked rituals and sex scenes. Of course, I wish that they had some vampire effects which they had at the time period and the sex did get in the way of the story a little. Plus some of the accents were hard to understand at time periods, but it's worth watching the unedited version then the edited up version which is titled THE DEVIL'S PLAYTHING. But if you don't care for allot of naked women dancing and having sex, then this isn't the movie for you. However, I did enjoy it and I give it...7 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I couldn't agree more, I thought it would be just another tit and ass movie, but I find it more complicated then that. The characters are well written. The story line works, if thined out my all the sex. But still far better then some of the French erotic horror which is nothing more then glorified Tit flicks. I agree with Zedd and I too give it...7 STARS.

+ STORY (The story does work, if not thinned out a bit.)
+ CHARACTERS (The characters are well defined.)
+ HOT (Speaking as a man, several hot sex scenes.)
+ UNEDITED VERSION (If you wish to buy it, buy this version, not THE DEVIL'S PLAYTHING.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- NO VAMPIRE EFFECTS (I wish they had some vampire teeth.)
- ACCENTS (Some of the accents were hard to understand.)
- SEX (The sex did interfere with the story, just a little.)

- NOT FOR EVERYONE (If you are offended by nudity or all lesbian sex orgies, then this is not the movie for you.)
