THE PLOT:
It began 500 years ago as the Spanish Knight Templars turn their backs on the Church and make a pack with the devil. The
villagers rises against this evil that plagued the land and cpatured them, but to keep them from ever finding the village
again. Their eyes were burned out before be burned at the stake.
Five hundred years later the village prepares to the five hundredth annivearsery of the event. But a mis-shappen outcast
arranges for the Templars to rise again so they can keep their promise to return for revenge. Meanwhile three men compete
for the affection of one woman. But will that matter after the Templars crash the party????
ZEDD'S OPINION:
There were some major chances in this sequel from the first movie, in the first movie it was the Church that hanged the evil
Templars and the birds ate their eyes. But I think this makes more sense. I think there was some kind of connection between
this movie and the three that follow, you'll have to see it to find out. But it's worth watching again and again. I give
it...9 STARS
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd, allthought I liked the first movie. Even though I wasn't around to review I did like it. I think even
though I don't approve of rape and all rapist should be casterated, I think the attempted rape scene worked better then the
rape scene in the first movie, that seemed tacked on to me, a better film and I enjoyed it allot....9 STARS as well.
ON THE POSTIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ TEMPLARS (As in the first film, the Templar Zombies were really, really cool)
+ STORY (The story worked even better this go around)
+ ATMOSPHERE (The atmpshere was perfect without loosing substance)
+ HUMANS (Most of the humans characters were interesting)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- DUBBING (They were major dubbing changes that I didn't find out until the subtitled version)
AND FINALLY...
- EDITING (They edited out an entire scene in the dubbed version)
